Pioneer Natural Resources Donates $10,000.00

Pioneer Natural Resources (Pioneer), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in the United States, South Africa and Tunisia, donated $10,000.00 to the GBF in May. SSG (R) Roland Paquette and his wife, GBF Director of Operations, Jen Paquette were given the opportunity to tell Pioneer’s Senior Management team about the Green Beret Foundation. A check was presented to Roland and Jen by the Chairman and CEO of Pioneer, Mr. Scott Sheffield.
This donation came about because of one of the GBF’s Board of Directors, MG (R) Greg Champion who is the Joint Venture and Commercial Activities Manager at Pioneer Natural Resources and has worked for Pioneer for many years. After talking to Pioneer’s Senior Management about the GBF, it was made very obvious that Pioneer is made up of many former military warriors and patriots. Pioneer has hired 12 former military personnel in the past six months and has expressed an interest in adding as many qualified retired military employees as they can staff in the future.
A special thanks to Mr. Scott Scheffield, MG (R) Greg Champion and the entire Pioneer team for donations and support for the GBF. These donations will directly impact the Special Forces Community and help the GBF continue to support the work of the our Quiet Professionals.
