Dana Kyle

Associate Director, Community Relations and Strategic Events

A native of of central Pennsylvania and a graduate of Penn State University, Dana Kyle joins the Green Beret Foundation as Associate Director for Community Relations and Strategic Events bringing with her a broad base of experience, from nonprofit work with the USO to years spent in Nashville as a publicist to some of country music’s biggest stars.

In her previous role as Community and Special Events Manager at the USO, Dana developed, founded, and led key event structures, management practices, and fundraising opportunities for the organization’s Northeast region. This included USO event management at major activations within the Northeast, including the Boston Marathon, Fleet Week New York, the NFL Salute to Service games, and the Army-Navy game. Throughout her four-year tenure, she planned and orchestrated numerous major fundraising events which collectively raised over $1.5 million for the organization.

Before joining the USO, Dana sharpened her skills as a Nashville publicist, managing day-to-day requests for a roster of high-profile clients including Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, and Trace Adkins. Scheduling and managing media days, escorting clients at major events, fostering and maintaining connections with key media personnel, and more, in Nashville Dana honed the capability to manage relationships within the context of elite players in a highly demanding environment—something which would later serve her well when she transitioned to the nonprofit world.

With two grandfathers who were both military servicemembers–one Army, and one Navy–Dana is deeply committed to the cause of advocating for Green Berets and their families.
