Q1 2019 Board of Directors Meeting

News

Tuesday March 05, 2019

The Foundation recently held its empowering Board of Directors meeting with members – both old and new, which was extremely productive. We remain focused on growing our organization and continuing to make an impact on our community in the most positive of ways.

We are currently in the process of hiring a new Executive Director and have been pleased to see such a positive response from potential candidates. We are excited to make a final decision for the Foundation in the upcoming months.

Our steady growth will have an even greater impact on the local communities, families, and Special Forces soldiers that we serve. Especially, when considering our merger with the Operational Advocates Supporting Injured SOF (OASIS) group, which provides tailored VA claims assistance programs for transitioning Green Berets, including VA healthcare and Vocational Rehabilitation. The merger grants the Foundation greater access to experts and assets that will add tremendous value to our existing services.

The Foundation will also be celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year, we are so grateful for all your hard work and support over the past decade. We are also pleased to announce the Foundation has rounded out 2018 with our best fundraising quarter to date, which already puts us on a great path moving into 2019.

With your backing and commitment to the cause, we would not be where we are today. Our core mission since day one has been, and will always be, to support Special Forces soldiers and their families. They are the most dedicated, talented and determined force that our country has to offer and their sacrifices are beyond measure.
