The 10th Annual Major Darren Baldwin Green Beret Golf Classic will be held on Monday, September 9th at O’Bannon Creek Golf Club, located at 6842 Oakland Road, Loveland, Ohio.
Teams have the option of playing either in the morning or the afternoon. Each outing will have 1st- and 2nd-place winning teams, game winners, raffle prizes, opening ceremonies, food, drinks, and swag gifts.
A joint ceremony between sessions will feature live music by the Philmore Brass Band, a parachute exhibition by Team Fastrax, and a flyover by the Cincinnati War Bird.
The Cincinnati Green Beret Golf Classic takes place annually to honor the service and sacrifice of U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers and to benefit the Green Beret Foundation. The event, now renamed the Major Darren Baldwin Green Beret Golf Classic in honor of Fran Wesseling’s son, pays homage to Major Baldwin’s fight against combat injuries spanning 15 years. Major Baldwin passed away on December 23, 2021.
