The Green Beret Foundation is a proud sponsor for the 2nd Annual SFC Ryan Gloyer Memorial Run. SFC Ryan Gloyer, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), died courageously in battle in Kunduz, Afghanistan on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel. “He believed that anyone could achieve their dreams through hard work and the drive to exceed requirements,” said Richard Gloyer, Ryan’s father. “He possessed the discipline, courage and a never-give-up attitude to overcoming obstacles. We all love and miss him so very much, but he will never be forgotten.”
The 2nd Annual SFC Ryan Gloyer Memorial Run (5K Run/Walk) presented by Westinghouse will be held on Sunday, Nov. 3! This event serves to preserve the legacy of Ryan A. Gloyer - an incredible man and true patriot who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country when he was killed in action on Nov. 3, 2016 in Afghanistan. It also hopes to bring our Seneca Valley community together while recognizing ALL veterans who served.
