Brian Steininger is a former Green Beret with over 20 years’ worth of proven experience in the United States Army, having served on multiple combat rotations in Afghanistan as well as many additional operations spanning across Eastern Europe and Northern Africa. Bringing with him a wealth of cross-functional attributes, his leadership experience derives from his various military experiences which include serving as an Indirect Fire Infantryman (11C), Transportation Movement Specialist (88N), Special Forces Communications Sergeant (18E), and Special Forces Warrant Officer (180A). He possesses a comprehensive background in Management, Strategic Planning, Data Analysis, and Policy Compliance.
Brian’s last assignment was as the Operations Director and Chief Technology Officer for the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Technical Surveillance Detachment, until his retirement in early 2020. Following his retirement, Brian spent time as a DoD contractor before joining the GBF team as a Veterans Service Officer (VSO), providing fellow Green Berets with direct support for VA disability claim submission.
Brian is passionate and committed to helping Special Forces Soldiers and their families prepare for transition, and is fully dedicated to the motto: “Green Berets helping Green Berets.” He resides in Colorado with his wife Cherith, and in their spare time they enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, classic cars, and making wine.
