Instead, he channeled his skills, leadership, and passion into significantly impacting his community and fellow veterans’ lives.

During his military career, Benjamin Bunn completed numerous deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. He served in some of the world’s most challenging and volatile regions, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Baltics, contributing to stability operations in Eastern Europe. In the civilian world, Benjamin’s remarkable journey continued. He became the owner of Cigar City CrossFit, a fitness facility that promotes physical health and serves as a hub for community engagement. Benjamin also holds several Director-level positions across multiple businesses and enterprises, including Bravo Sierra, Cold Zero Spirits, and Warrior Rising. His extensive management experience in the military and business worlds equipped him with the tools to drive success in various industries.

Haley VA Hospital’s domiciliary and polytrauma programs, positively impacting the lives of veterans in need.

Benjamin’s passion for fitness and helping others extends to adaptive athletes in the broader Tampa community. Holding a CrossFit Adaptive athlete coaching certification, he has worked with adaptive athletes, exemplifying the power of determination and resilience.

His involvement with veteran-focused non-profits such as the Green Beret Foundation, Team RWB, The Yellow Ribbon Fund, Companions For Heroes, and Warrior Rising highlights his dedication to supporting those who have served. Benjamin currently serves as the Director of Business Development and Fund Management at Warrior Rising, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing its mission.
