Montgomery, TX –November 21, 2024– The Green Beret Foundation (GBF), the premier nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting U.S. Army Special Forces and their families, is proud to announce its partnership with BioMat®, an FDA 510K Class II Medical Device known for its innovative use of infrared rays and negative ions to improve health. This partnership aligns with the Green Beret Foundation’s holistic approach to health and wellness, ensuring the mind, body, and spirit of our Special Forces community are well cared for.

BioMat® technologies have been well-researched and proven to reduce stress, improve sleep, increase circulation, and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. These benefits directly support the parasympathetic response, which is crucial for healing. Additionally, BioMat® has been shown to reduce inflammation, boost blood oxygenation, and stimulate the lymphatic system, which plays a critical role in detoxification and recovery.

“Supporting the total well-being of our Green Berets is at the core of what we do,” said Charlie Iacono, President and CEO of the Green Beret Foundation. “Partnering with BioMat.com allows us to introduce a cutting-edge, proven wellness technology that will enhance the health and recovery of our warriors, both physically and mentally.”

Connie Shank, Owner and President of BioMat.com, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “BioMat.com is humbled and honored to partner with the Green Beret Foundation to provide BioMat® healing to our Special Forces and their families. We recognize that there is no greater sacrifice than the one you make for your country, and we are proud to support these elite men and women who serve and protect the United States.”

As part of the partnership, BioMat® will be offered to the Green Beret community, providing them access to a tool that promotes overall health and stress reduction. In addition, the Green Beret Foundation will be donating two BioMat® devices to each of the U.S. Army Special Forces Groups’ Tactical Human Optimization Rapid Rehabilitation and Reconditioning (THOR3) facilities, which are designed to support the recovery and performance of Green Berets. These mats will be available for Green Berets to use at their convenience, offering them a new resource for healing and recovery as they continue their service.

This partnership exemplifies the Green Beret Foundation’s commitment to incorporating innovative, effective wellness solutions into its mission of holistic care for Special Forces. By introducing BioMat® technology, the GBF is ensuring that Green Berets have access to tools that can help them recover, perform, and thrive in their demanding roles.
