Please help us support Green Beret Foundation Gold Star Families by making a donation in memory of Kirk Deligiannis through our page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please don’t forget to share with your friends that you think might be interested in donating and taking part in the Deligiannis WOD! Last year on Sunday, September 25 we lost a great man, father, husband, motivator, and friend. The adjectives you read about him in black and white don't do what this man did justice. Dedicated to fitness and helping causes, only second to his family, he built up Mettle Forger and later, with Brian Lohr, Charity Challenges which went on to raise thousands of dollars for the Green Beret Foundation and Team RWB. Never one to turn away from a challenge or person in need this world will undoubtedly miss him. Help carry on his legacy by taking part in the WOD and donating to help those families who have also lost loved ones. "Choose a goal you can not achieve. Then plan for it. Train for it. And destroy it" - Kirk This WOD is intended to be able to be done anywhere, at your box/gym or even at home. There was over 100 respected boxes, gyms, ruck groups, and RWB chapters across 5 different countries that took part last year. I'm hoping we expand on those numbers this year and get people in all 50 states and some additional countries (people in the United States, Canada, Brazil, China, and the UK took part last year). There will be a $20 donation per person attempting the workout (there are 3 versions of the workout including a 40% BW Sandbag, Weighted Ruck, and BW version) and a recommendation of $5 more if you don't finish. This workout is epic and brutal, and Kirk will be appreciating it without a doubt. If you can't make it to the gym that is hosting near you, you can do it at home. Feel free to scale as needed for whichever version you decide to take on, but remember who this is to honor. All the money raised will be going to the Green Beret Foundation Gold Star Families via Maria's wishes. Please use the link below to make your minimum $20 donation per person for taking part in the memorial WOD. Disclaimer: This WOD is rough, make sure you hydrate regularly and take breaks if needed. Rhabdo is a potential risk with this level of workout and we don't want to see anyone get hurt and/or end up in the hospital.
