Join us at Longtab Brewing Co. in San Antonio, TX as they release their fifth Longtab beer dedication, brewed in honor of GREEN BERET SSG DAVID B. ROTEN, JR who was killed in action on November 27th, 2014 in hostile territory supporting the U.S Government.
The name and style of this beer has been chosen in close coordination with Dave’s family and his former teammates. Also, the graphics for the label were provided by Dave’s sister Lisa which makes this one even more special.
David "Achilles" Roten served in the United States Army in the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) as a decorated Special Forces Weapons Sergeant. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, among others.
He lived and served with unwavering commitment, passion, and courage, always pushing himself beyond his limits to be the very best. In how he both lived and died, he inspired others to greatness and continues to do so to this day.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of this beer will go to the Green Beret Foundation.
This beer will be sold on site on draft, to go in cans, and on the Longtab Brewing Bevv site.
