HEALTH & WELLNESS SUPPORT

SUPPORTING THE LONG-TERM HEALTH OF A GREEN BERET'S MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.

REQUEST SUPPORT

The long-term health of a Green Beret’s mind, body, spirit are of the utmost importance to the Foundation. We supplement the care that the Military Health System (MHS) and Veterans Health Administration (VA) provides to ensure total wellness for the Green Beret. Some examples of how we support our community:

  • Alpha-Stim®
  • Infrared Light Therapy
  • ChiliPad™
  • Neurofeedback
  • Laser Regeneration Therapy
  • Aphasia Therapy
  • Access to substance abuse treatment
  • Inpatient/Outpatient healthcare costs not covered by TRICARE or the Veterans Health Administration
HEALTH & WELLNESS SUPPORT PROCESS
1
A Green Beret, family member, or Care Coalition advocate contacts the Foundation to inform us of a need that has arisen in our community.
2
We ensures the person is, in fact, a Green Beret and that the need is valid and not supported by the Veterans Administration.
3
We require supporting documentation to communicate the scope and cost of the support required.
4
The Foundation arranges financial assistance on behalf of the Green Beret and his family. We pay vendors, service providers, and third parties directly on behalf of the Green Beret and not the service member directly (unless there are extenuating circumstances).
5
We also assist in identifying partners, benevolent organizations, and veteran service organizations that might be able to assist with the support.
6
We continuously engage with the Green Beret and his family to see if the support has been helpful and if other needs have arisen.

HERE WHEN YOU NEED US
I was critically wounded in Afghanistan in July of 2011...What I appreciate most about the GBF is its simplicity. No red tape, miles of forms, and paperwork, just how can we help and what do you need. My parents got a check while I was in CCU to help cover expenses for whatever was needed....Thank you isn't enough to express my gratitude to this organization that has helped and supported not only me in my recovery but so many others as well.
