The Green Beret Foundation recognizes the need for respite for our Green Berets and their families. Our heroes are deployed in over 110 countries at any given time, and many of our Green Berets have deployed as many as 10 times over the past 16 years.

The Green Beret understands the commitment, as does his family, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need some much deserved rest and relaxation. The GBF has partnered with several private citizens throughout the country to provide opportunities to a select number of families at each group throughout the year. The weekends come at no cost to the Green Beret and his family.

This program is somewhat different in the respect that being “wounded” is not a requirement; the primary requirement for selection is being an outstanding Green Beret.
