The SSG Alex Viola Foundation will donate a total of $90,000 to the Green Beret Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in a 10am presentation January 23, at the Keller City Town Hall. Among those expected to attend will be SOWF Executive Vice President, Col. Sean Corrigan (Ret.) and Major General James G. Champion representing the Green Beret Foundation.

While the Reds organization has been a longtime supporter of hosting a veteran participant, this is the first time that a Green Beret veteran will be an honored guest.

Financial assistance may be awarded to cover the expenses for both K-12 and post-secondary education.

The Hatton Foundation’s grant of $100,000 in 2019 enabled GBF to establish the Hatton Healing and Recovery Fund, which covers the cost of innovative therapies and devices for injured and ill Green Berets and their family members.
