SSG Alex Viola Foundation Makes Record-Setting Donation to Military Organizations for 5th Year In a Row

The SSG Alex Viola Foundation will donate a total of $90,000 to the Green Beret Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in a 10am presentation January 23, at the Keller City Town Hall. Among those expected to attend will be SOWF Executive Vice President, Col. Sean Corrigan (Ret.) and Major General James G. Champion representing the Green Beret Foundation.

Local Green Beret to Attend 2020 Reds Fantasy Camp

The Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, in collaboration with the Cincinnati Chapter of the Green Beret Foundation, has selected retired Special Forces Green Beret Nick Brown to attend the Reds Fantasy Camp at the Reds Spring Training Facility in Goodyear, AZ from January 18-25, 2020. While the Reds organization has been a longtime supporter of hosting a veteran participant, this is the first time that a Green Beret veteran will be an honored guest.

GREEN BERET FOUNDATION ESTABLISHES SGT. 1ST CLASS MATTHEW MCCLINTOCK MEMORIAL FUND

The Green Beret Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of the Sgt. 1st Class (SFC) Matthew McClintock Memorial Fund, which provides children of Special Forces soldiers with financial assistance for education expenses not covered by other resources and other additional unpredicted costs they face while enrolled in school. Financial assistance may be awarded to cover the expenses for both K-12 and post-secondary education.

Cincinnati Chapter of Green Beret Foundation Receives $100,000 Donation from Hatton Foundation

For the second year in a row, the Cincinnati-based Hatton Foundation has given the Green Beret Foundation (GBF) a $100,000 donation to ignite support in 2020. The Hatton Foundation’s grant of $100,000 in 2019 enabled GBF to establish the Hatton Healing and Recovery Fund, which covers the cost of innovative therapies and devices for injured and ill Green Berets and their family members.
